Portrait of a Graduate

  • A Spiritually Vibrant Student

PCA utilizes a wholistic integrated model of education where biblical and theological threads are woven into the grammar, logic, and rhetoric of each subject.  A spiritually vibrant student knows and demonstrates his or her knowledge of God as they express a robust Christian worldview and live a life of submission and obedience to Christ. Our courses aim beyond graduation requirements as we seek to develop Christ-followers steeped in pursuit of the knowledge of God.

  • An Intellectually Curious Student

PCA produces intellectually curious students as they engage with the greatest thinkers and writers throughout the history of mankind. We invite students into the “great conversation” of ideas where they are challenged to think beyond their own perspective.

  • A Socially Mature Student

PCA staff and faculty pursue and promote the core needs of belonging, value, and purpose of each person in our community. As image bearers of God, we foster relationships that shape what is true, good, and beautiful in and among us. A flourishing community demands flourishing students.

  • A Culturally Engaged Student

PCA strives to produce students that engage in purposeful service to others by creating a culture that exemplifies servant leadership. A classical Christian education at PCA provides the linguistic, critical thinking, and communication skills necessary to understand ourselves, others, and our world in light of our understanding of God. Our students are cultural makers who purposefully shape culture rather than passively experience it.
